Once upon a time there were two little girls who loved to tell stories.  Eventually, these little girls grew older (but never grew up), without  losing their love of storytelling. Mid-2012, they wrote Poisoned, the first novel of The Enchanted Saga. And so, Marie Zanne, their pen name and writer persona, came into being.

Suzanne (from whom the Zanne part of the name comes) has graduated from college with a music education degree and is currently teaching at a small Christian school in our home state of Washington. She wrote her first novel just out of high school, and is now working on their third with her sister, Marie. She is highly opinionated, an INTJ, and a redhead. Her favorite books include Pride and Prejudice, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lord of the Rings, and The Inheritance Cycle, and her beverage of choice is either Coca-Cola or a hot cup of herbal tea. She is also a huge fan of Star Wars, Star Trek, and most anything that includes superheroes.

Suzanne’s younger sister is Marie.  She went to school to learn the culinary arts, but made the switch the pastry arts and now a certified pastry chef.  Before she wrote novels, she was Suzanne’s sounding board and resident Fairy Tale Expert. She is an incurable romantic, otherwise known as an INFP, and a chronic daydreamer.  Her collection of books is ever growing, and please, for the love of everything that is good, don’t ask which is her favorite.  Her beverage of choice either a hot cup of coffee with her choice of creamer or a hot cup of tea (Just make sure to keep her caffeinated.  She is an author, after all).  She is a huge fan of Psych, ABC’s Once Upon a Time, The Office, Merlin, Doctor Who, Sherlock…she could go on.
